We are seeking the support of contract nurses who can support the rising nursing caseloads that we are experiencing across the state.
Description of Duties:
The role involves conducting nursing assessments and collaborating with external agencies to ensure appropriate services are delivered. The assessments are used to authorize skilled nursing services for members. The successful candidate will conduct in-person visits in their city area and have a core district that they serve, monitor health needs, assist with referrals, and advocate for members’ rights. The Registered Nurse will complete a report for each member in the format required by the government agency, documenting the medical necessity for skilled services the member can access to meet their individualized needs.
NOTE: In-person assessments every 90 days and as needed. The position is field-based, and travel is required to complete in-person assessments. The position does pay 67 cents a mile for mileage and fuel reimbursement
Qualifications for this position:
- AZ RN License
- Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
- CPR/BLS Card
- License/Certification for position
- Covid Vaccine Status
- TB Skin Test
- Hepatitis B vaccination or declination of offered vaccine
