In a direct hire, we will work with the hiring company to place a candidate directly with the company, typically for a flat fee or percentage of the hire's first-year salary. Our process is to screen and identify candidates with the unique skillset and experience required for the position and present them to the hiring manager. We facilitate the interviews and manage the communication. Once a candidate has been identified to hire, the hiring company will take it from there.
Interim staff, or "temp-to-perm", are very similar to direct hires, but with one exception—APN (rather than the hiring company) becomes the employer of record until the hiring company decides to convert them to a permanent employee. This is typically pre-negotiated and in three- or six-month terms. Interim staff allow both the employee and the company to determine if the position is right for them.
This is often used by companies with high-volume hiring needs for temporary projects. APN will hire the employees and manage their payroll and benefits until the project or temporary position is complete.
