Revenue Cycle Director

APN Staffing is currently hiring for a Revenue Cycle Director. Our client is looking to expand their finance team, this position is a DIRECT HIRE and comes with a salary range of ($125-$150K a year).

General Job Duties:

Develop department budgets and policies in alignment with organizational vision, mission, and goals
Assist the Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Chief Financial Officer in determining assumptions for budgeting and forecasting revenue during the budget cycle process
Monitor aging reports, claim denials, and coding efficiency of billing and collecting activities to ensure adherence to quality and quantity standards
Develop and participate in various process improvement initiatives to maximize efficiency in reimbursement and collections
Coordinate with payers to ensure compliance with contract regulations and identify, discuss, and resolve reimbursement issues
Conduct research, provide documentation, and review recommendations for write-off or adjustments to facilitate payment of billed charges

General Job Requirements:

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and electronic health record (EHR) systems, including (EPIC & possibly NextGen)
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Accounting, or related field of study required
5 years of experience in hospital-based or physician practice third-party billing and collections required
