Title Clerk – $23.00/hour
Prescott, AZ
Qualified applicants must have at least 2 years of title clerk experience at an automotive dealership.
Essential Functions
- Oversee title department including retail and wholesale titles
- Assist with processing, posting and preparing title work for wholesale units sold to various auctions as needed
- Assist with processing retail vehicle titles with precision and accuracy as needed
- Research outstanding (retail and wholesale) vehicle titles and resolve issues in a timely manner, along with obtaining out of state titles
- Process used vehicle purchases including receiving, issuing checks, submitting DRT, and following up on titles due to the dealership
- Review and monitor title schedules on a weekly basis, discussing aging and/or title issues with Business Managers
- Follow up on outstanding wholesale receivables
- Meet company timelines in processing titles and resolving title issues
- Understands and follows corresponding state title processing guidelines
- Consistently respond to internal and external customer inquiries and requests in a professional manner within company timelines
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor
- Perform administrative duties in the office such as data entry, word processing, filing, copying and other duties associated with this position
- Other duties as assigned
- Attend pertinent training
- Attend company meetings as required
