Dealership Service Manager – $140K – $180K

Family owned automotive group looking for experienced Service Manager to join their management team!!!!

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the service department, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
• Oversee the scheduling of service appointments and coordinate with technicians to optimize workflow.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.
• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles for maintenance needs, including oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, and other services.
• Utilize automotive diagnostics tools to assess vehicle issues and develop accurate estimates for repairs.
• Train and mentor service technicians on best practices in vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and dealership policies.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Automotive Service Manager.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair processes.
• Familiarity with auto estimating software and tools is preferred.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships with clients.
• Experience in managing oil change services, brake repairs, alignments, and general vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 5 years managerial experience.
• Must have a proven track record to demonstrate the motivation and skill to run the department top to bottom.
• Must be able to recruit and train quality service personnel.
