An Phoenix community hospital needs additional, experienced PCU nurses to care for patients
- 8-week contract. 12/4/2023 – 1/27/2024
- Full-time.
- Day shift 7:00 am – 7:30 pm
- 12-hour shifts.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current nursing license as a registered nurse in the State of Arizona.
- At least 1 year PCU

• Pt. ratio 1:4 | Pt. age group: adults & geriatrics
• Every other weekend req’d
• CERTs req’d: ACLS, BCLS
• First Time Traveler ok
SKILLS req’d:
• EPIC Software
• Cardiac Telemetry
• PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown
• Telemetry/Oncology
• Interpretation & management of dysrhythmias
• Post MI, pre/post cardiac cath
• IV insulin protocols
• Titration of insulin
• Accessing ports
• Blood product administration
• Peripheral line care
• Phlebotomy & starting IVs
• PICC line management
• Heparin protocols
• Manage cardiac & vasoactive drips, CVA, vent pts & stable
