A reputable Hospital is looking for a PCU – RN for a 13 week contract.
• Pt. ratio 1:4 | Pt. age group: adults & geriatrics
• Every other weekend req’d
• CERTs req’d: ACLS, BCLS
• First Time Traveler ok
SKILLS req’d:
• EPIC Software
• Cardiac Telemetry
• PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown
• Telemetry/Oncology
• Interpretation & management of dysrhythmias
• Post MI, pre/post cardiac cath
• IV insulin protocols
• Titration of insulin
• Accessing ports
• Blood product administration
• Peripheral line care
• Phlebotomy & starting IVs
• PICC line management
• Heparin protocols
• Manage cardiac & vasoactive drips, CVA, vent pts & stable vents care
• Chest tubes
• CPAP, BiPAP, HFNC, NC, airway & trach management
• Isolation precautions
SKILLS pref’d:
• Telemetry – on unit & remote monitoring
• Use of rapid response teams
• Feeding tube care & management
• Renal failure
• Central line care & management
• PCA
• Titrate cardiac & vasoactive drips
• TBIs
• Surgical drains
• ABG interpretation
• Wound care/vac
