APN Staffing is currently hiring for a Public Health Nurse in the Providence, Rhode Island area. This position is contract one year and is not permanent employment with the State of Rhode Island. Hours are Monday – Friday (8:30 am to 4:30 pm) with an hourly rate of pay at $53.79 an hour. Hybrid work schedule – Travel is required several times per month. RN will use their own personal vehicle for site visits.
General Job Requirements:
Develop PowerPoint presentations on various infection control topics
Present infection control content on webinars
Present infection control content in person at healthcare facilities
General Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing
Active nursing license in the State of Rhode Island
Comprehensive knowledge of infection control and infection prevention
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
At least two years of experience in infection control and prevention – Desired
Certification in infection control and prevention preferred
Willingness to conduct a field visit to a facility that may be experiencing an outbreak
Bilingual English/Spanish
Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive personal vehicle to field visits
