APN Staffing is NOW hiring for an RN in the State of Tennessee. This is a long-term temporary contract for 12 months. Position is on-location in Nashville, Hours are (12 am to 7 am) Monday – Friday. Hourly rate of pay is $43.34 an hour.
General Job Duties:
Provide nursing care and procedures according to physicians’ orders and nursing protocol
Assess patient’s health, administers medications as prescribed, takes vital signs and record medical documentation
Evaluate possible side effects and the overall effectiveness of medication
Perform diagnostic tests on collected specimens to determine patient’s health status
Maintain health care equipment, supplies, and inventory
May supervise Licensed Practical Nurse or other staff up to six at a time
General Job Requirements:
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee
A valid motor vehicle operator license may be required
Associate’s degree in registered nursing from an accredited school of nursing or bachelor’s degree in nursing from and accredited college or university, and experience equivalent to one year of registered nursing
