APN Staffing is NOW hiring for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) for our client. This is a contract position only and not a permanent position with the State of Rhode Island. Hours for this position are (8:30 am to 4:30 pm) Monday – Friday. Pay range is $37.57 – $38.75 an hour (DOQ). Contract is until the end of June – but likely to be extended, 35-40 hours per week/full-time hours.
General Job Responsibilities:
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide mental health evaluations and individual and group therapy for an adult psychiatric in-patient population
The clinician will work as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team in a long-term hospital setting
General Job Requirements:
Master’s degree in counseling or social work
Active RI license in mental health counseling or social work (State License Licensed Mental Health Counselor or Licensed Social Worker)
Two years of clinical experience
